A refillable lighter represents an investment. These devices can offer many years of reliable service but, like any product designed to last, they must be maintained and, of course, cleaned from time to time. This process is quite easy and, depending on what type of lighter one has opted to buy, it usually takes no more than a few minutes.

Liquid fuel lighters require more maintenance and cleaning that other types of refillables. While liquid fuel is reliable, will ignite in very high winds and is very inexpensive, even for the highest-end fuels, it does not burn as efficiently as butane. Therefore, it tends to leave behind traces of carbon and other impurities left behind when the lighter is lit. Cleaning this, conveniently enough, is best done with lighter fluid which is an excellent solvent. Lighter fluid may be added to the tip of a cotton swap and used to remove the black patches that tend to develop around the windscreen. Also pass the swab near the areas where the flint wheel and flint are set to ensure that these function correctly.

A butane torch lighter is one of the most popular accessories among cigar aficionados. They offer a clean-burning, hot flame, reliable lighting and the fuel is inexpensive. These lighters are also available in very highly-stylized designs. Some of them have two and even three flame jets which makes for a very striking visual display when they’re employed. These lighters are generally very clean-burning and will produce little residue when used. However, one must still endeavor to keep the flame jets clean and, most importantly, one must ensure that they’re free of any obstruction when the lighter is sparked.

Butane lighters produce almost no fouling elements when they are lit. This fuel burns with incredible efficiency. Add to that the fact that most high-end lighters are of the torch variety which burn very hot and there is little residue left behind from the flame. Liquid-fueled lighters will leave carbon and, sometimes, an oily residue behind on the windscreen, around the wick and, sometimes near the flint wheel. This may be wiped away with a cotton swab soaked in a little lighter fluid. Most often, it wipes away very easily and the lighter fluid evaporates away quickly.

On a butane-fueled lighter, there is a receptacle which is designed to accept a butane canister. This area must be kept clean. Generally, anything that may be obstructing this area can simply be brushed away. If anything should happen to become lodged in the jet area of the lighter, invert the lighter and tap it, gently, on a hard surface. This should dislodge any debris. If it doesn’t, one can use a thin piece of metal to gently lift away the obstruction. Anything that is stubbornly-lodged in the workings of such a lighter should be removed by a professional to avoid damage.

Brian is a business consultant of an online specialty lighters store and has expert knowledge of cigar accessories, including Colibri lighters.

Now that you have moved to the country, you find yourself with new challenges. Not just that, but the job of taking care of it's all yours.

Now you have moved to the country, you find yourself with new challenges. Not only that, but the job of taking care of it’s all yours.

When you currently have three, 4 or maybe five acres, the walk-behind mower that used to do a fine job on your smaller suburban lot just isn’t going to chop it. In looking for an answer to this challenge, an increasing number of rustic householders have turned to a tool that lawn upkeep operatives have used for years : the highly maneuverable, highly productive zero-turn-radius mower. That’s why they are the single fastest growing gear segment in the outside power appliances industry. Many house owners see the zero-turn as a fast and good way to mow great grasslands. While large commercial models offer lots of stability on hillsides, smaller home mowers are way more subject to drifting downhill when on an incline. Additionally, the purchase of a zero-turn mower is an investment in a pure cutting machine.

If you’d like one machine that offers you the ability to blow snow, do blade work, pull a use cart, or perform a spread of other jobs, then a lawn tractor or garden tractor is going to be a much better option. Thanks to creative design and engineering from John Deere, you do not have to sacrifice the agility and maneuverability of a zero-turn mower for the suppleness and multiple purpose functionality of a lawn tractor. You’ll be able to find four-wheel steer on 2 models of Select Series Tractors.

These machines have been designed and built to perform a range of light- and professional quality jobs for shoppers who have bigger properties of at least 7 acres with more landscape features and challenging terrain.

These tractors come in a variety of seventeen to twenty-seven hp, both air- and liquid-cooled engines, depending on the model. Other features include a peerless mixture of engine features and an exclusive hood design to deliver bigger dragging capacity and longer engine life. Wide-gauge wheels provide improved functionality on coarse ground and a four-point mount is more impervious to abuse and tough terrain.

Next, author Weldon Duffy includes what more you can discover about Selling John Deere Tractors or click here.

One problem I see frequently with a lot of amateur golfers is their lack of effective putting practice before a round of golf. They often make the same putting mistakes over the opening 6 holes of a round. Mistakes such as the following:

Putts that barely make it 50% of the way to the hole Putts that take a trajectory away from the hole Putts that run past the hole leaving difficult second putts

For all amateurs, the value of spending some time on the practice green can pay huge dividends by saving you shots over the first six holes. Here is a five minute drill to be performed before a round of golf that will help you zone in on your putting alignment and gauge the speed of the greens.

Alignment

Start by doing your normal routine of lining up a putt and address the ball as you normally would. Before taking the putt place a club down at your toes to show the line you are taking. Step away and look down the line of the club on the ground. Is this pointing toward the hole? If not, then perhaps your technique of lining up shots needs to be revised so try picking a different target to aim for (one closer to your ball) and try again with another technique. A simple alignment technique is to stand behind the ball and visualise the trajectory you expect the ball to take on the way to the hole. Then simply pick a target point along the trajectory that you wish to aim for and line up your body to this target.

Distances

With any practice drill for putting distance you want to focus on getting a feel for the greens speed over short, medium and long distances.

Begin with a long putt. Try to make 8 to 12 of these putts and focus on making the distance the ball travels as close as possible to the correct length to establish long green speed.

Next choose a medium length putt around the 10 foot distance and preferably a distance which you experience often. Again, take up to 10 practice putts and try to get to within a meter of the hole. Being accurate is important with this drill so you wish to have some putts going in.

Finally, do some short putts within 1 to 2 meters of the hole. This is done last so that you get a confidence boost from a high number of putts successfully going in the hole.

In conclusion, all amateurs should perform some putting drills prior to a round of golf to gauge the green speed, even if they play the course regularly, as factors such as the green’s soil water content, the time of the day and the length of the grass can adversely affect the ball speed.

Most people are aware of the golf lessons that are given by trained professionals, but most do not have any idea that they can be found online. It is a great game boosting technique without having to take time out to visit a course.

In today’s busy world most people do not have the time to go and take golfing lessons. However, golf is a game that is hard to master without proper instruction. That problem is solved with easy to utilize online tutoring.

It is not difficult to find websites that offer this form of instruction. They are put together by pros that are well aware of the tools and techniques that are needed to achieve success in the sport. Check out a wide variety and find the one that focuses on the same things that you are lacking in.

The benefits

A large number of benefits come along with the study of golfing techniques. The online classes are run by certified instructors, and they will give a full refund to anyone who has not gotten anything out of their classes. With those kinds of guarantees there is nothing to lose.

Most people have problems finding time for such things as lessons, but with those that are taught online those issues are not a problem. The websites are made available around the clock and can be studied after dinner or even on weekends.

Another great benefit of taking this type of tutoring is the fact that you get personalized attention that cannot be found with lessons that are taken in any other setting. Many people respond better when their teacher takes the time out to put special attention on them. This leaves an open line of communication as well.

Normal golfing lessons cost a small fortune and that does not even include the price of the equipment. The lessons that are done over the internet are a lot cheaper and require absolutely nothing but time. That allows the student to actually enjoy the lessons without having to worry about the price.

There are those who are under the misconception that classes taken on the internet cannot be reputable or effective. The fact of the matter is that these websites are put up by professionals who are very capable of teaching the sport to anyone who is willing to learn. They use the newest technologies available to provide the greatest interactive experience available.

Signing up

Once you have made that leap and decided to take online instruction the thing to do is sign up. This process is generally pretty easy and will only take a few minutes after finding a good program. In just a few steps you will be well on your way to becoming an expert at a very popular sport.

Find a site that has all of the things you are in need of. There are plenty to chose from and each one has a particular area of expertise. Read all of the details thoroughly.

Golf lessons are a wonderful way of revving up your game and gaining a lot of good tips and techniques. A reputable instructor will guide you through each step until you have them all down.
