I'm new to golf and the Callaway Big Bertha irons feel good right now, but i'm not sure what the difference is between the 2006 and 2008 versions are. Is it just in looks or what? Please help me!

I have the "Green Monster" and that thing just kills the ball! But it will take some time to get used to (big head).

The weighting is a little more refined in the 2008 version, I like it much better but the bottom line is price and what you are currently paying. If you can get the 06 for half price or less and it is a big upgrade from what you are playing go for it!

2006 big berthas are less forgiving and hit the ball a little shorter distance then the 2008. Looks are another thing, but the big difference between the 2 clubs are the feel. In the 06' models they put a firm grip on the club and the 08' has a softer feel. But if i were you i would just go with the 06' because you are new to golf and you should not go with a top notch set.

The 2008's are just a tad bit better but they are relatively the same thing.
