    Out-Of-Towners And Business Travelers

    Out-of-towners and Business Travelers

These days, regardless of the activity or business of your choice that you want to pursue (in this case FREE GOLF), you have to target your focus and tighten it around your key niche audience and target-market to have the most impact, be successful and get the results that you want, need, desire and deserve.

Traveling business people have little choice when they are out and about going about their tasks and responsibilities. They can also however be a lucrative contributor to your self-sufficient, cost-neutral golfing strategy. Catering to the needs of the out-of-town business traveler asks for initial contact and information at the ready for them when they want it, where they want it, to optimize your chances of them actually picking up the phone or sending you and email, IM or note to enquire about the golfing services that you (can) provide.

Entertaining clients while they are away, as a stand in also offers and affords you the luxury of networking and representing their interests – all while playing and enjoying the golf games and rounds FOR FREE, on someone other than your own’s tab! Most visitors (especially on evenings and weekends are left at the mercy of the local events guide, offerings and have little choice (eating out, movies, sights etc.). How much fun would it be to rather engage and interact on the golf-course. You can make this dream a reality for them, if you are set up to address their needs and wants.

Having exposure in the local guides and hotels flyers, information kits, even contact with the concierge and front desks at the major hotels and accommodation hot-spots is a great way to sell your services – have others do it for you!

Business will come to your doorstep without you doing much but play and enjoy GOLF with and through others. Sounds like the perfect balance and equation! Make their trip one to remember and play a few rounds of rewarding golf and meet some exciting people in the process – without having to pay for it! That is the way to get things done – even if you do not have a lot of start-up capital or cash on hand to play as often as you like. This hand-in-glove type business arrangements work exceptionally well for the casual, occasional client. It can also translate into lots of referrals, insider contacts and almost a trusting relationship developing over time that takes care of you , your golf and your business!

Advertisements are a great way of getting and keeping attention (on YOU, YOUR GOLF and what you do/offer clients).

Start with a catchy, punchy headline that will grab their attention and keep them interested

Be creative and original and position yourself, rising above the crowd, noise and mediocrity, offering something that will astonish, wow and please most client – phrase it to make them go “I wish I had thought of that (first!)…”
